Low temperature, liquid phase, high performance silicone polymer used as a heat transfer fluid from -100 °F to 500 °F.

SYLTHERM HF heat transfer fluid is a low temperature, liquid phase heat transfer medium specially formulated from a high performance silicone polymer designed for use at a temperature range of -100 °F to 500 °F.

SYLTHERM HF fluid offers excellent thermal stability, outstanding low temperature heat transfer, as well as outstanding pumpability. SYLTHERM HF fluid provides an extra margin of safety and can reduce engineering and system costs with a closed cup flash point above 145 °F.

Essentially odorless, SYLTHERM HF is low in acute oral toxicity. It also is not listed in the U.S.A. as reportable under SARA Title III, Section 313.

SYLTHERM HF heat transfer fluid has a viscosity of only 16.7 centipoise at -100 °F. These low viscosities at low operating temperatures are critical properties because they allow for high heat transfer coefficients with low pressure drops, and low pumping horsepower.

This product is to be utilized in a closed, pressurized system, under inert gas blanket, with expansion tank.
