DOWFROST HD 50% inhibited propylene glycol offers effective heat transfer over a wide temperature range: from -28 °F to 325 °F.
DOWFROST HD inhibited propylene glycol (PG) is comprised of about 94% PG and 6% corrosion inhibitors. The lower PG content in DOWROST HD allows for additional corrosion inhibitors including some which are not approved by FDA as GRAS. These additional components do not compromise fluid toxicity and provide an enhanced level of corrosion protection which is unsurpassed in the industry. DOWFROST HD has a fluorescent yellowish green color and is capable of operating at higher temperatures than regular DOWFROST: from -60 °F to 325 °F.
DOWFROST HD is intended for low toxicity, non-food processing applications.
